After nine days of sunshine the morning arrived cloaked in the mantle of heavy fog. Apparently it has been foggy in central and eastern Oklahoma for a number of days and today, like many previous, the fog sat on the ground in the morning slowly giving way by late morning to some sun and clouds. Driving across Oklahoma the terrain changes from the sparseness of the high plains to hilly forests and ranches with small winding rivers and creeks; but, the constant persists as truck traffic remains heavy . Their headlamps are like gleaming eyes in the mist as the trucks barrel across I-40 through the fog. The rigs keep on moving cutting swirls of moving cloud which after the trucks pass then once again envelope the highway. It makes for some very different and interesting photography.
Tomorrow - Joplin and with some luck one of the custom chrome shops.
