Top of the Rockies
The northern end of this byway is split into two legs, one beginning at Copper Mountain (Colorado 91, exit 195, I-70) and the other at Dowd Junction (U.S. Highway 24, exit 171, I-70). They join at Leadville and follow U.S. 24 south to Twin Lakes, where the byway heads west to Aspen on Colorado 82.
